Resolvers are fairly tricky, and the signals coming back are typically pretty small, so you have to watch shielding and grounding carefully. I hope it is a simple drop in, but if not, you should be able to get it going without anything extreme. I'm kind of interested in these, so I would like to hear how it goes.
(If you want a minimal commercial board made for this, I'd be interested in working on it. Just resolver in, maybe a couple jumpers to set reference frequency, and some jumpers for the resolution.)
