In your .hal file, connect the index-enable pin of the encoder counter and the associated axis.N.index-enable.
In your .ini file, set HOME_SEARCH_VEL to 0 (or omit it), and set HOME_LATCH_VEL to the speed at which you want to move during the search for index.
