Gentlemen,
I updated and compiled EMC2 today. After I start EMC2 the computer
takes a few minutes to slow down to a veritable crawl. The machine
does not have to be doing any motion. TOP shows xorg is using 95%-99%
of the cpu and 40% of the memory. The machine runs fine. The computer
graphics update very slowly. When I shut EMC down TOP shows xorg at 2%
of the cpu and the computer is immediately very responsive.
I updated last week and noticed a bit of a slow down but after the
update this afternoon the slowdown is very noticable.
What would I look at to help determine what the problem might be?
