Hi all. I am getting started with my converted hobbymat machine. (simple
steppermotor setup) So far it is working with x and y axis. I am testing the
setup together with NX manufacturing. So far I am having a lot of trouble
with the postprocessor. Sometimes it works. But I don't have a clue however
why it fails or works.
Anyway, I managed to get a 4000+ lines nc file working. But, for some reason
it stops with a joint error after a few 100 lines. Restarting the file gives
the same error on exactly the same spot. The position of the table isn't
anywhere near the homing switches. There doesn't seem to be an error in the
nc file, no coordinates that are beyond limits for example.
So far the process of getting started was quite easy. I spent most time
wrestling with the postprocessor. So, compliments to the project.
BTW, I am running the emc program in the xming server. Unfortunately it only
works full screen. Is anyone else using this?

I also tried X11 on OSX leopard but this isn't very stable, X stops
responding a lot, emc keeps on running, but you can't access the application
anymore.
