Hi Colin, that would be me.. Can you reproduce the problem on a i386 install? (I assume you are the one that posted on cnczone). The proper fix would be to use a newer RTAI version, I have one already built for i386, not yet for amd64. It would be great if you could verify that with this version it doesn't happen anymore. Note: I'm not thrilled about the fix to emc2, as this is a problem of RTAI (we already encountered it on dapper, yet it finally seems fixed in RTAI CVS).
