Is there a version called "workstation"? Never heard of it.
For the synaptic/apt problem maybe try <apt-get check> ? Forcing installs
is not ideal.
I have had zero failed Sheetcam installs so far.
Autopackage on Ubuntu 8.0.4 worked.
0.0.26 + 2.8.8 debs on the same 8.0.4 worked.
0.0.24 + 2.8.7 debs on Ubuntu 6.0.6 worked.
0.0.26 + 2.8.8 debs on Mepis 6.5 worked. (KDE Desktop btw)
A couple of issues:
Broken symbolic links to /home/les/.local littered about in libs directory.
Preferences are not saved between runs. The exception being 8.0.4 which has
a SheetCam.ini file in the home directory. Maybe this file is leftover from
the AutoPackage install?
