I read alot of machine infromation and have not heard of a feedback on a MPG.The coolest thing on a MPG I have used is what I call rigid hand tapping. In MDI you start a G84 tap cycle with no Z depth or spindle RPM.Then you turn on the MPG and when you turn the MPG the axis would move and the spindle rotation would be syncronized. It was like you were turning the spindle with the MPG.(It was a $15,000 option from Fanuc)I could have used feedback on that one because it had a 50hp spindle and a 1/2in tap didnt stand a chance.
