I really need help on this site:

I have been trying to run a PYVCP in my terminal but it wont run!! With the
help of one of our great colleagues here on this site I have been able to reach
where I'm on this challenge and with that I knew that something is missing.
What do I do? here is my ordeal:

I created a tiny.xml file and I typed in it this program:
<pyvcp>
<label text="This is a LED indicator"/>
<led/>
</pyvcp>

I went further to open the TERMINAL and typed in the pyvcp -c mypanel tiny.xml
and when I tried to run the terminal it didnt work.

Instead this was the result:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls
Desktop  Documents  emc2  Examples  Music  Pictures  Public  Templates  Videos
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls
Desktop    emc2      Music     Public     tiny.xml
Documents  Examples  Pictures  Templates  Videos
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ pyvcp -c mypanel tiny.xml
RTAPI: ERROR: could not open shared memory (errno=2)
HAL: ERROR: rtapi init failed
Error: Multiple components with the same name.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ emc
EMC2 - 2.2.5

On a second attempt i got this:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls
Desktop    emc2      Music     Public     tiny.xml
Documents Examples Pictures Templates Videos
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ pyvcp -c mypanel tiny.xml
RTAPI: ERROR: could not open shared memory (errno=2)
HAL: ERROR: rtapi init failed
Error: Multiple components with the same name.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -al tiny.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 abode abode 64 2008-08-18 18:47 tiny.xml
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ emc
EMC2 - 2.2.5
Machine configuration directory is '/home/abode/emc2/configs/sim'
Machine configuration file is 'axis.ini'
Starting EMC2...

I run the control window and the machine ran.

But I never got the MYPANEL and PYVCP that I wanted to test and create. PLEASE
HELP SOMEBODY. IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY SOFTWARE OR WHAT
