Hm, this thread seems to be stuck a little bit. I am new here and I even 
don't use EMC until now. But a conference would be great for us to learn 
for our future projects. So please do it. :-) I know, contribution is 
the essence of the OpenSource world so what I could offer to support it 
is a location. We have a conference room for up to 50 persons (it could 
be split if necessary) and enough space to setup demonstrating machines. 
The big disadvantage of our location is, that we don't have own EMC 
machines. We are located in Berlin, what is always worth a visit. :-)
