Does anyone know if the CNC-fest Mazak retained its original servo drives,
or if they were swapped out, and more importantly, with what? I have a Mitsu
laser I'm working on with 3 AC (3phase, encoder w resolver combo)servos, but
due to its age, I won't be retaining the servo drives themselves. I'd like
to hear if anyone has found a good US source for 208 3ph input drives, up to
10kw (the x-axis is about 8kw, iirc) - and preferably either step/dir or
+/-10v inputs. If there are any Mitsubishi friends out there that want to
chat about the glory days of the HA900 motors, I'm open to that, too!
