Gentlemen, >axis.0.backlash-corr
shows 0 for all motion >Here is the quick test I did and I find that it is working: > >[AXIS_0] >COMP_FILE=x.comp >COMP_FILE_TYPE=0 > I have COMP_FILE_TYPE = 0 in my .ini file - I didn't mention it as the instructions I have seen say it defaults to 0 I have only one COMP_FILE = in my .ini file. Is there a requirement to have one for each axis before any will be implemented? Is there a different linux permission requirement for this file? >% cat x.comp >0.0 0.0 0.0 >0.1 0.1 0.095 >0.2 0.2 0.2 > >start emc, put halmeter on axis.0.joint-pos-cmd, mdi: >g0x0 >x.1 (note halmeter says 0.1) shows 0.1 >x.2 shows 0.2 >x.1 (note halmeter says 0.105) shows 0.1 I hadn't looked at these in halmeter but I have an indicator on the machine that shows no matter what numbers I have in the comp file the machine's behavior does not change. Obviously, it is something I have missed. I would say 'I can't imagine what it would be' but (I repeat myself) that is obvious also. thanks :) Stuart ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
