Hi, I wonder if some knowledgeable chap could explain to me why I'm having problems zeroing my rotary axis please. When I start up the machine I issue a 'G53 X0Y0Z0A0' in MDI followed by 'G92.1' and 'G10 P2 L1 X0Y0Z0A0'. These zero all the axes EXCEPT the 'A' axis which stays at whatever figure it was at when I fired up EMC2. The only way I seem to be able to zero the 'A' axis is by issuing a 'G92 A0', however, if I then jog the 'A' axis and try to re-zero it using the 'touch off' button in AXIS, its value changes to something like '-3276' or some other large, apparently arbitrary figure. There is obviously something I'm not understanding although I've read through all literature for the G-code commands I'm using and the EMC2 user manual. I'm wondering if something happened in the last software release as I don't remember having this trouble before. I'm currently running on a fresh install of the latest Ubuntu 8.04 EMC2 CD. Thanks,
