Thanks to all of you ! Probably someone is interested in the solution - maybe it can help another guy searching.
System C did not boot because of a defect built in card reader !!!! After removing it the behavior was again as system B. System B and C did not run emc2 because of installed TV-Cards !!! After removing the cards everything is working properly. In my case even with AHCI, all usb, all bluetooth and big memory !!! Just to mention it; system A is working with the TV-card installed !!! And emc2+dapper did (and still does) work on all systems !!! Conclusion: System C said '[ 97.248014] usb 7-1: device not accepting address 4, error -110' The card reader was connected to the 7th usb port on the mainbord ! It was definitely a trial and error for me and it seems that (beside the above usb error message) it's not possible to say if a specific configuration is running or not. Thanks again and bye for now !!! mario ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
