My satellite link keeps going down due to a thunderstorm, so it may take awhile to respond. Dave, copy/paste the following in a terminal, and let me know what the output is: sudo mv /etc/wvdial.conf /etc/wvdial.conf.orig sudo cat >/etc/wvdial.conf <<EOF # Custom Wvdial.conf for Huewai E220 # Modify as needed. Lets leave it until tomorrow. Best wishes Dave Hello Mark In 'file browser' I did a search for 'wvdialconf' came up with 3 files 'wvdialconf' 'wvdialconf.1.gz' 'wvdialconf.log' All 3 have a lock on.
