The answer to "is anyone using" is probably "not yet".  Keep in mind
that EMC support for hostmot2 and especially the 7I43 is rather new.
The good news is that it is rapidly evolving, but the bad news is that
you need to be prepared to compile from CVS if you want to track the
improvements.

There was a bit of a rant on this list just recently from a user who
didn't understand the situation and was expecting a turnkey install.
I don't want a repeat of that situation.  On the other hand, Seb (who is
working on the driver) is very responsive, and if you go into the
project with your eyes open, I'm sure you'll have good results in the end.
