Actually - step buffer overflow - 200 step error detected.

That may be pushing it a bit - unless you have the table very loose.
1.0 / sec will give stable performance with a 'tight' machine ( less 
than 2thou backlash )
Pushing much more than that results in larger 'lag' due to the 
controller always playing catchup. You then need to delay things between 
moves so that the controller can clear the step buffer. Controller can 
be up to 200 steps behind the requested position.

I've not got the Linux box onto the 3000 yet - still running that on 
Mach3 but the same rules apply.
