Hi guys this is from cnc zone. Any comments? I'm sure I remember reading about getting Axis not to display unused axis. I looked in the manual and couldn't find anything. I will relay any answers. Chris morley
Mike Nash says: I have an app that is X, Y and A axes. But I'm stuck with Z also being present. Axis A's jog keys also get shoved onto the [ and ] keys instead of PGUP and PGDN. Now if I had two rotary axes I wouldn't even have dedicated jog keys available for the B axis! Is there a way to make the usual Z axis a rotary axis? How/(can it even be done) would a person go about remapping the keys on a standard keyboard to make them perform the functions desired? I would especially like to a add the ability to jog to go to a rapid jog speed. I really don't want to need the mouse at all, for anything, within EMC while the machine is running. But I also don't want to throw a pile of hardware at the problem either when it should be do-able from the keyboard. I've got around 102 keys right here. That ought to handle about anything I need to do! _________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
