I had the same problem.  If you think of a tiny you walking along on the 
top of the part, following the cutter as it moves about, left and right 
will be as you would see it.  Assuming climb milling with a CW tool 
rotation as you look down on the workpiece, and you are machining the 
exterior of the part, you then want to progress clockwise around the 
part.  Walking behind the cutter, the tool would be on the left of the 
part.  So, you would use G41.
