I don't know much about Stepconf, so the only suggestion I can offer is to try to setup your .hal file by hand using this as a guide: http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Xylotex_With_EMC2 http://www.linuxcnc.org/docview/html//common_Stepper_Diagnostics.html You might start with starting EMC2 and select Sample Configurations / stepper / stepper_inch or Stepper_mm, then modify the sample to the Xylotex particulars. Your sample files should be in /home/your_username/emc2/configs/stepper/stepper_inch or mm . -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensign option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
