Hi group;

I thought I might get a chance to make it to the EMC Fest at MPM.
However I got my work request which will be sending me out of the
country again on the 25th. :(

I had noticed that one feature you intend to look into at fest was the
G12/G13 circle pocket canned cycle.

I made some copies from a Yaznaq (LX or MX I forget) Manual (for a Mori
Seiki MV40) that has some great step by step illustrations of how the
G12/G13 responds to the passed augments.

I used this info to write a G13 Macro (o9013) so that now our Fanuc 18m
can use Yaznaq type G13 commands. (if the "L" is removed, not a problem
since the Post processor config didn't use the "L" augment.)

I did this back in early 2003 so my memory of the particulars isn't to
good. - I will say this, the Yaznaq format has no provisions for "Z"
axis moves, Cutter must be to depth prior to the G13 line, and the line
after G13 requires the retract.

I may also have the G12/G13 pages from the Haas programming manuals.

Anyway if these would be of help I will stuff them in a priority
envelope and get them off to MPM. I also have a 7i30 I can send if
someone could use it. After talking with Peter I decided it was too
underrated even for just playing with my motors.

Work on these features may be well past where this info would be
helpfull. Let me know.
