Hearing "The Dow was down 3 dB" yesterday wouldn't be very disturbing, would it? Your previously extortionate 20% credit card rate would drop to a mere 0.8 dB. But your CDs would yield 0.08 dB and let's not talk about your savings account (remember those?).
