Greetings all,

I am trying to get in touch with 'Big John T' whose email address
'jet1024 at semo dot net' no longer exists. Does anyone know how I can
get in touch with him?

I have been playing with the counterbore.py script available from
http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Simple_EMC_G-Code_Generators
(actually it's at (http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/uploads/counterbore.py).

I have modified it sufficiently to remove the user interface
functionality, accept the appropriate parameters as method arguments and
then return the generated GCode to the calling python script. I am
happy with the result.

My problem is that I now wish to re-distribute it as part of the
HeeksCNC project. I have just finished a Drilling operation function
for HeeksCNC and I think the addition of this counterbore functionality
is a neat extension. i.e. select graphics to determine where to drill
the holes, drill them and then place circular pockets at the top of each
hole to cater for the screw's head.

HeeksCNC is distributed using the 'New BSD License' while the
counterbore.py script uses the GPL. I don't know enough to determine if
I'm allowed to re-distribute the script so I was hoping to ask
permission from the author.

  Any ideas?

  Thanks
  David Nicholls
