Sorry, my earlier advice was bad because I didn't even look at this.

This arc is just wrong - try taking out the G41 and run without
comp.  You will see it's just not what you meant.

I'm pretty sure you meant J, not I

And you do it exactly right, leaving cutter comp on until you're
away from the part edge.
