I'm struggle to get the tool table to work on my lathe.

I used the touch off procedure documented here
(http://www.linuxcnc.org/docview/html//lathe_lathe-user.html ) to create my
tool table, and when I look at the contents of the file, I can see x and z
offsets.

However, after homing (with no tool loaded) and issuing an M6T1, the x/z
coordinates haven't been adjusted for the the tool offsets. Is there
something else I need to do?

I'm only using tool 1 and 5 at the moment. My tool table file contains...

POCKET FMS ZOFFSET XOFFSET DIAMETER FRONTANGLE BACKANGLE ORIENT
