Have an e.d.m. It has a small servo with a pot attached to it.
There are 6 leads on the servo, but just 3 wires running to it. All 6 post on the servo has wires.
I have not traced it out yet.

It runs for a few moments and then stops. I put new bearing in it and it turns great.
The servo is a Japan Servo
ESA-1N-S
1.0 W
100/100 volt
50/60 hz
2p
1.5/1.2 uf
AE19042

How can I run a check on the servo?
Does anyone know of a replacement?
Could the pot be bad?

I know this is a E.M.C. q&a but I have been reading for while and it seems you folks have a lot of knowledge.

Thank all of you in advance.

Jeff
