touchy is part of the development version of emc, but won't be in a
released version until emc 2.4.
You can obtain and compile the development version of the source as
described on our wiki
http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Installing_EMC2#On_Ubuntu_6_06_or_8_04_from_source
and by using the 'run-in-place' configuration option you can try out
this version of emc without altering your installed, stable version.
