I have been looking for information regarding homing a dual drive gantry. From
what I can tell, the Integrator manual does not specifically cover homing of a
dual drive gantry. I have been working my way through the mailing list
archives and forum looking for mention of gantry homing but so far I've only
found solutions relying on hardware (mechanical or master/slave servo drive).
I can see where homing order could be used to cause both sides of the gantry to
home at the same time but that does not (necessarily) provide coordinated
gantry motion. I would expect the most desirable homing process would involve
simultaneous, coordinated motion of both sides until both home locations are
established at which point any racking present would be cleared.
I expect this information is out there and I just haven't found it yet - any
help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated.
