Oh, there is much more to it than this.  You have to tune the dynamic 
performance of
the servo amp before you can do much with EMC adjustments.  Unfortunately,
tuning an analog servo amp is not simple, and almost impossible without some
basic electronic instruments to stimulate the servo and then record the 
response.
