buy.
I got a mach3 xml file for a similar machine and had a look. It does not say
much to me at the moment and as far as I know the manual does not say much.
>From china I did not get an answer about technical stepper data und the man
in switzerland will try emc. I am sure emc will work.
Before I start fidling around I tought I ask if there is anything finished.

Is this similar to the machine you plan to get?

The Syil website mentions Mach3. If this machine originally ran with
Mach3, the conversion to EMC2 should be pretty easy. You need to find
the Mach information that defines the function for each parallel port
pin. Then write a .hal file or use Stepconf to set EMC2 to make the same
pin assignments.
