You need to bug sourceforge about (empty) digest messages.
We don't send any digest messages, nor do we have influence over them.

You receive digest messages because you opted for them (or because there's a 
problem with SF's software).
This particular one wasn't quite empty, it had one email in it which had a 
picture removed (during the conversion to text).
Maybe it tripped some digest size limit, or SF just another of their bad 
days..
