In the emc2 binary package, the .rbf files are included inside the
pluto_servo.ko hal component loaded by 'halcmd loadrt'.  This firmware
will automatically be programmed into the fpga each time the hal driver
is loaded.

In the emc2 source tree the .rbf files are in the directory you named.
However, in contrast to what that old Integrator Manual says, we use
'git' to manage our source code instead of 'cvs'.

Within the source distribution, the encoder+pwm firmware image is still
in the same location, src/hal/drivers/pluto_servo_firmware.
