Gentle persons: It seems that this wave of DEC nostalgia hits us every 12-18 months. I got my licks in on the last cycle, so I'll forgo the opportunity this time....
except... I'd give my eyeteeth for an original PDP11/20 front panel (actually, my old machine was the third sold out of the Chicago office back in the early 70s and was simply "PDP-11" on the escutcheon plate.) The only ones I see now are mounted on presentation plaques for which princely sums of money are being asked when available (okay, so I value my eyeteeth at something less than a princely sum of money, but then so does my dental insurance plan). If you see one lying in a scrapheap, please let me know. I really miss the look and feel after all these years.
