I have just completed the hardware retrofit of an older EMCO F1 mill to stepper
motors driven by Gecko 203v with encoders (differential outputs). My intel
motherboard is connected via parallel cable to a 7i43 with attached 7i47 (for
step and encoder portion) and 7i42 (for other IO: driving spindle, limit
switches, EPO indication, etc.). The 7i42 is connect to (among other things) a
DigiSpeed DC-06 which is in turn driving a KB electronics KBPB-125.

Does anyone have config files (HAL, 7i43, etc) that would be a starting point
for such a thing? I am just starting to dig into the config for the Mesa cards
and see I have a learning curve to overcome, not to mention the EMC curve that
I am on too! Oh, and did I mention I know little to nothing about machining?
:-O

Similar, existing configs would help quite a bit. The hm2-stepper config helps
a little but the more the merrier....
