Steve, As Les pointed out in his following emails.. he is doing a run from here in his tool change hack...but it is buried in the python code so you don't see it (very clever Les). I'm just trying to point out that you might already have what you need, or at least be a lot closer than what you realized. I tested some CAM generated gcode for my lathe (in a very similar format to what you use) and I could *not* get the run from here to screw up. A few people are using the "run from here" with great success. If you avoid jumping over modal transitions, offset shifts, g92's, O subs, etc, I think the run from here might solve 95% of your issues. I'm hoping it will do the same for me. You might want to try cutting some air and try and break the "run from here" to see what you can get by with.
