That's a very good point and sound advice. After reading this thread I scraped my secret plans to overhaul my bridgeport. Bridgeports also tend to be pricey because they are desirable for many. A used CNC machine with electronic problems is a boat anchor for 99% of people even if in perfect mechanical condition. You guys rule!
