No, but thanks for asking. Power was restored in about 4 hours, so we
didn't even lose the freezer contents. It took a couple of those broken off
trees through the powerline run on River Road & once one lane of the road
was cleared, they had to replace 3 broken poles. I had just left to go to
Lowes, and had looked up at the western sky & thought it looked pretty
black but left anyway. It chased me all the way to Buchannon, then trapped
me in Lowes while it put down about 3" of rain. The wife knew it was
blowing to beat hell, but didn't even think of going to the basement till
it had passed. I pointed out that was what she shoulda done, and got told
to shaddup. Thats my baby. ;-)

My new garage, has no j bolts into the foundation because 2 of its 4 walls
are sitting on the retaining wall I built, with a heavy coat of tar under
the sill plates, and alu flashing running out over the edges of the blocks
below the vinyl siding. It didn't move, and didn't lose any shingles.
The walls are 2x6 on 24" centers, with 1/2" osb on both sides and blown
full of cocoon so there is at least the usual weight. The house did shift,
just enough to effect the deadbolt lock in the front door but I haven't
tried to square that up again, last doing that I broke the steel prehung
frame above the hinges about 20 years ago with a sledge because it was
leaning up the hill. With 4" deck screws in the hinges, I might be able to
adjust it just with those.

But we can still lock it, so its a shrug till I get to it. :-)
