I would think that you could use HAL and pyvcp. It would work similar to a DRO setup. http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/emcinfo.pl?PyVCP http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/EMC2/dro_vfd/ You could even link in a PID component to get better control. The screen could have buttons for setting temperature. I'm don't know how to setup a time vs. temp. script. Maybe use a separate C, python, bash or other that can talk to HAL. Halsope could show a time/temp graph (maybe?). -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
