The patch is not in 2.4.5. It will be in 2.4.6, which I hope to build soon. It is in the "latest version from git" stable packages packages from the emc2-buildbot http://emc2-buildbot.colorado.edu/~buildmaster/ and in the 'v2.4_branch' if you prefer to build emc2 from source yourself.
