Yes.

EMC2 only needs the spindle position and index-enable. (as far as I know)
net spindlepos encoder.0.position-interpolated => motion.spindle-revs
net index encoder.0.index-enable => motion.spindle-index-enable

(the encoder pins will have different names in a Mesa / Motenc / Pico system)
