I have configured my X and Y axis home positions using switches, but am
having problems understanding the Z axis. When I tell it to home, the
axis wants to move down (away from my switch). I realize I had to
invert the signal in stepconfig in order to move the axis down in a
negative direction for proper operation when running the G-code, since a
negative distance moves the axis towards the piece being cut. Maximum
travel for my Z axis is 4.75", and I would like to home the axis at .5"
from the switch which is at the top of the axis.
