Gene, a little update. I received the Lava card today. I installed it in the "new" PC.
I also re-routed internal cabling, such that the cables are not too close to touching the fans. This is a very small case and this always has been a problem. To make PPMC driver see it, I had to say: loadrt hal_ppmc port_addr=0xd000 I had to figure out argument name by doing "strings" on the hal_ppmc.ko driver. But I found it and I am happy. Based on VERY PRELIMINARY tests, the card appears to be working! The only thing that I tested, was to power up the machine and move all axes by hand. I will, of course, try to do some more testing. i On Fri, Jan 28, 2011 at 9:20 PM, gene heskett <ghesk...@wdtv.com> wrote: > On Friday, January 28, 2011 10:09:43 pm Igor Chudov did opine: > > > I received the Lava card today.
