Dear EMC users,
As you know when running a program, we can stop the program run by
clicking on Stop button. Now by clicking the Stop button, if spindle is also
running during the program run it stops
turning too. Is there anyway that if we click on the Stop button, we stop
the program from running but the spindle would not stop turning and let
it turn the way it was before clicking the Stop button. In the source code
we are using the commands abort() and wait_complete() in the task_stop
function and this stops the spindle also. Are there any other commands that
stop program from running but do not stop spindle from turning? Thanks
