I have a universal dividing head which weighs about 50 Lbs, and is
pretty much ideal for gear making, etc.
Since you have a CNC, there really is little use for a true rotary
table. Now, our shop at work uses a pair
of stacked rotary tables to do the insane geodesic structures my boss
comes up with for nuclear detectors,
but I doubt that Igor is going to make too many such items. For gear
cutting, putting hex bolt heads on things, etc. a relatively small RT or
dividing head should be quite adequate, and not need the darn CRANE to
move it around.

One of these days, I REALLY need to hook a motor to that dividing head, too.
