Googling Westamp Servo brought up some interesting hits. These changes may be offset by the adjustments, but some changes may be beyond the adjustment range. Another layer to the problem is that these old analog amps have their own control loops (PID) built-in. Recall that the tachometer connection goes back to the amp and not EMC2. The velocity feed back will need to be tuned (at least in part) in the amp. I don't know the procedure, hopefully someone here does. You could be chasing your tail until this basic internal amp tuning is done. Learning to use Halscope can be a big help with tuning and can indicate symptoms that can not be seen or heard, and can be shared on-line fairly easily. If it looks like you will need to hire help, you might consider that new PWM input amps might cost as much as the house-call, but you'll have new amps that have no internal PID and integrate very well with EMC2. I used Pico's amps to replace my old analog amps. They work very well and all of the tuning is in EMC2 with Halscope. With this setup, the tachometers go away. You can reuse the resolvers, but I found it easier to go to normal optical incremental encoders.
