I need to wind a coil for an RFID reader - about 90 turns, 5mm wide, 8
layers.

I have wound single layer coils before, but I was wondering if it is
possible to do multiple layers using G76 = canned threading cycle? Can I
use multiple G76 commands to lay the coil forward, then backward? Will the
second G76 return as expected, or will it stop and wait to synchronise the
spindle? Are there other spindle synchronised commands that work better?
Or should I build a custom .hal configuration to do this?

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Frank
