Is it possible to zero an axis position counter from inside a G-code program? I don't want to have a full homing sequence for a specialized application (not machining), and just want to zero the position on command. Alternatively, is there a parameter number that stores the current position that I can read and possibly write?
I have tried connecting motion.digital-out-00 to axis.0.home-sw-in, but I think that would only work in a full homing sequence, and I don't know of a way to initiate a homing sequence from inside a G-code program. This is a stepper based system.
