Yesteday I spent whole day trying to get any of the two D525s to work with any of the two 7i43s I have. I think that I tried every possible thing - I tried all the settings in BIOS that are LPT related, tried to change port address (I read that some motherboards do not report correct address), I tried all those scripts and commands that Kirk suggested in the other thread. But I was still getting error at EMC's startup. Today I came back to workshop, turned on the PC and EMC did not show any errors. I changed 7i43 cards and it worked too. I then tried both cards on the other D525, one worked, the other did not. The one, who did not work, was connected back to previous D525, where it worked again, then changed again to the second D525 and then it worked. I was using the same hdd for both D525s, so it was exactly the same config on both boards. So now both 7i43s work with both D525s and I have no idea, why did they change their mind.
