You can always add them in kinematics module :))
I have it for the nozzle height control - customized thc HAL module
calculates the offset and then I feed it in kinematics module. That
way LinuxCNC always knows the actual joint's position, I just did not
like John Thornton's approach of not letting LinuxCNC know the actual
joint's position.
