I see that Nook has an 8x2.5 screw & a 'keyed' ball nut that comes in 195mm and up lengths. That nut is 20mm in diameter, which if I can figure how to attach it to the bottom of the slide, might be usable. Backlash rated at .045mm. That's .0017", and 5x more accurate that what I have.
