You might check if HSD (http://www.hsdusa.com) has something for you. I'm not sure if they have 3000rmp, 1kW motor, but I remember 3000rmp/4kW spindles. I hope HSD is not the other Italian manufacturer that doesn't answer to you mails. I have to HSD spindles (24000rpm/2.2kw and 38000rpm/8kw) and I'm quite happy with them.
